Candidate for USTA Director District #12
Dear Fellow Horsemen,

I’m Bob Boni and I am a candidate for District #12 USTA Director. I am writing to you today asking for your support by voting for me in this upcoming election.

For those who know me, you know that I have been associated with harness racing for over thirty five years and that I am dedicated and committed to our sport.

For those that are not familiar with me, I would like to tell you briefly what makes me qualified to be your director.

At the present time, I am President and owner of Northwood Bloodstock Agency, one of the standardbred industry’s foremost bloodstock agencies, marketing standardbred racing and breeding stock at public auction and in private sales. I have been a sales company executive and general manager of Dreamaire Stud, a leading breeding farm in New Jersey. I was fortunate to have selected and managed a group of yearlings that included the World Champion Nihilator. I have also been a member of the Harness Expo Advisory Committee and the Meadowlands Horseman Advisory Committee in addition to being a frequent contributor to various industry publications, including “Hoof Beats,” the USTA magazine.

From grooming horses at Roosevelt Raceway to opening night at the Meadowlands in 1976, from the breeding shed to the sales ring, I have been actively involved in all facets of harness racing. I have seen the challenges that trainers and drivers face, and I have lived the dreams and disappointments of owners and breeders.

I believe that my experience has given me a unique perspective on the sport and business of harness racing.

I fully understand that the USTA must serve members from all aspects of the business. I have listened to trainers, drivers, owners, breeders and grooms and I respect and understand the needs of those members.

I am asking for your support by voting for me in this very important election. I have no agendas and I can, without hesitation, say that I will SERVE EVERYONE in New Jersey harness racing.
